Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Project Director will be responsible for developing and executing projects within our Syracuse based CCBHC program.

 

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $8,000 depending upon licensure!

 

Pay: $76,024.00 - $92,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects corresponding with specific outcomes and areas of behavioral healthcare.  
  • Maintain various sets of data including, but not limited to; health data, program metrics and outcome-based data.  
  • Assist in the overall analysis of data to improve performance outcomes.   
  • Work closely with program to identify best practices, assess workflows, implement practice change, analyze progress, and create sustainable models of care.  
  • Work directly with leadership to provide analysis and reports to make informed, strategic decisions. 
  • Perform rapid quality analysis on all pilots implemented in an effort to develop implementation models.
  • Demonstrate skill in areas such as leadership, autonomy, innovation, communication, interpersonal relationship development, public speaking, presentation, and policy.  
  • Participate in program administration and committees as assigned.  
  • Research best practices in behavioral health to reach successful performance.  
  • Ensure that goals and objectives align with overall strategic plan.  
  • Demonstrate a high level of dedication and proactive leadership in achieving project objectives.  
  • Direct activities of a broad functional area through individual, network, and committee work.  
  • Lead the project in its development of an overall quality improvement structure.  
  • Represent the agency to the community.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with three years of experience in behavioral health, health care policy, and/or management. Master’s Degree or licensure as a Qualified Health Professional may be substituted for two years of experience.  
    • You are a QHP if you hold any of the following licenses or credentials:
      • Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
      • Registered Nurse
      • Nurse practitioner
      • Licensed mental health practitioner (including permit eligible)
      • Licensed social worker (including permit eligible)
      • Certified therapeutic recreation therapist
      • Occupational therapist
      • Physician assistant
      • M.D. or D.O.
  • Management or other leadership experience preferred.  
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the employment experience requirements.

Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
