Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Mobile Crisis Clinician to work Per Diem, on call, providing counseling and therapy to patients through our CCHBC Mobile Crisis Program. This position has availability for the following shifts: evening, overnight, weekend, and holidays in an on-call manner from home.

 

When an in-person crisis call out is necessary, the clinician will be required to deploy to the scene.   

 

Pay Rate: $28.90-$34.00/hourly.

 

This position will also receive a $30 daily rate for the days they are on call, and this rate is paid regardless of whether they are called in.

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic or in-person response to adults and youth experiencing crisis in the community
  • Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities which may include screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, referrals, crisis intervention, crisis counseling, patient education, reporting and record keeping.   
  • Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.     
  • Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality. 

Qualifications

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license required. 
    • Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable.   
  • Two years employment experience in the Human Services field.              
  • Must have valid NYS driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.

Salary and hourly compensation offers are based on candidate's education level and experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager and program.
