Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. In order to support the mission, Helio Health has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director to lead and develop our Scattered Sites Program.


In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Program Directors are eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $8,000 depending upon licensure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and provides supervision of program staff. Related duties include:
    • Recruiting and selection of staff for employment.
    • Assuring continuing process improvement and staff development.
    • Continuous staff performance evaluation and supervision.
  • Knowledge and responsibility for fiscal operation of program.
  • Implements Quality Improvement activities to include:
    • Recommends program standards and measurements for continuous quality improvement.
    • Monitors provision of services.
    • Evaluates program and identifies strengths/weaknesses.
    • Manages problem resolution and implementation of supervisor approved program modifications.
  • Participates in Management and Administrative committees as assigned.
  • Maintains program records and statistical accountability utilizing Helio Health, Inc. data systems and required external data systems.
  • Represents agency to the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  •  Qualified Health Professional (QHP) status Required.
    • You are a QHP if you hold any of the following licenses or credentials:
      • Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC - ADV or higher)
      • LMSW. LMHC, LCSW, LCAT, LMFT or equivalent NYS licensure
  • Minimum four years clinical experience in an appropriate program setting.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience in an appropriate program setting.       
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in a related human service field strongly preferred.
