Community Outreach and Engagement Clinician

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking dedicated and passionate Mental Health/SUD Clinicians to work Full-Time providing counseling to patients at our Outreach and Engagement program in the community.

Travel is required for this position, and vehicles are provided! The are two schedules available for this position, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 11:00am-7:30pm.

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for a Sign-On incentive between $3,000-$8,000 depending upon licensure!

Pay: $27.56 - $32.04 per hour. 

• Maintain a case load. 
• Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.   
• Assist with the training of staff, volunteers and student interns as assigned.   
• Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.     
• Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality. 

• Must hold a valid professional License (including but not limited to LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, RN, NP, etc.) or Credential (including but not limited to CASAC, CPP, CPS etc.).
  • Limited Permit (LP) Licenses are acceptable.
• Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required. 
• One year counseling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process and principles of counseling.  
• An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.         
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
